As a Scientist at Oligomerix, Inc, I utilize my excellent laboratory skills and a strong background in neurobiochemistry and neuropharmacology to jump start and lead a small preclinical in vivo research team in an incubator lab located at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. The primary duties involve designing and executing invivo experiments for projects focused on validating and characterizing the preventive and therapeutic effect of selected drug candidates in various mice models of Alzheimer’s disease and related tauopathies. In addition, I routinely engage in internal and external collaborative efforts to move forward the ongoing projects and in process acquire an extensive experience in various aspects of preclinical drug discovery and development.
