ABOUT DHRUV MEHTA

I was the Campus Ambassador of Teachnook for 2 months. This company aims to make students industry ready by helping them realize their true potential and giving them an edge over other individuals which also leads to increase in productivity, efficiency and effectiveness by providing them with a variety of courses to upskill themselves. In this internship, I have brought numerous registrations for the company contributing in upskilling individuals for a brighter future. This internship required me to spread awareness of the company which helps in enhancing my communication skills, networking skills along with negotiation skills. I did my internship at Younity for 10 days as a Corporate Development Specialist Intern where I learned about how the corporate world really works. I have learned about placement training, linkedin profile, etc which is a must in today\'s world. This company also aims at providing courses for the betterment of individuals who want to upskill themselves for having a competitive edge over the others. I was privileged to be interning at a Social Organization named-\"Gracious Little Smiles Foundation\" for a month. This social organization aims at providing food and other necessary resources for an individual\'s survival by conducting food drives, etc. I worked on a project titled Compassion 10k, Project Egg and Milk. This project was aimed at marketing & raising funds to feed underprivileged children and provide nutrition via egg and milk to 350 kids on a daily basis. As a part of the project, I was part of the planning and organizing committee and went through a rigorous marketing and fund-raising course with the organization. I went through a complete transformation after this Social Internship as it taught me about the harsh realities of life at a pretty young age. I developed compassion, kindness, etc during this course of time. Helping the people in need and understanding their pain and most importantly putting someone else\'s need over mine, was one such thing that I learned. Broken homes, shattered dreams, torn clothes was all that I could see. But what I didn\'t see was their unwillingness to give up and always fight till the end for survival in life. That was one such quality of theirs that I always look up to, which is why they too are one of my biggest inspirations in life who also taught me that when life is unfair and unjust, accept the harsh reality and move on with a smile. These past experiences have led to a new me with a refined skill set of leadership skills and fund raising skills.
