ABOUT DHRIYA POPAT
I’m interested in how complex systems actually work in practice, not just in theory. As an International Relations and Psychology student at UBC, I’ve built my experience around understanding people, decision-making and the structures that shape outcomes. That’s what draws me to consulting, the opportunity to break down ambiguity, think rigorously and turn ideas into action.Across my roles, I’ve worked at the intersection of operations, analysis and leadership. As Co-President of the International Relations Student Association, I’ve led large-scale initiatives and driven engagement across a growing student community. At AIESEC UBC, I managed a 500+ participant pipeline and used data to guide outreach and partnerships across 15+ universities. In my advisory roles at UBC, I’ve supported hundreds of students in fast-paced environments that require clarity, adaptability and strong judgment. What’s consistent across these experiences is how I approach problems. I like structure, but I’m comfortable with ambiguity. I care about strategy, but I focus on execution. I ask questions, look for patterns and think critically about what actually drives results.I’m currently exploring opportunities in consulting and strategy where I can contribute to solving real problems and continue building this skill set.Always happy to connect!
