About Dhriti Bapna
I’m a Biomedical Engineering and Managerial Economics double major at UMass Amherst interested in understanding how technical systems and real-world decision-making intersect. Right now, I’m working as a Research Assistant in the Li Lab, where I’m involved in soil and nutrient analysis for sustainability-focused projects. This has given me hands-on experience with data collection, analysis, and working in a collaborative research environment. Outside of academics, I’ve taken on leadership roles through Model United Nations and student initiatives, where I’ve developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings. I’m especially interested in opportunities where I can combine engineering, data, and strategy to solve real-world problems, whether that’s in healthcare, biotech, or other data-driven fields. I’m always looking to learn, take on new challenges, and contribute meaningfully in team environments.
