ABOUT DEWAN HASIN MAHTAB
I am a graduate Environmental Engineer from the University of Calgary, where I learn about sustainable engineering solutions for water and energy systems.I have more than 2 years of experience as a Junior Engineer at the Institute of Water Modelling, where I contributed to a water supply and sewerage network improvement project in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I used ArcGIS, AutoCAD, WaterGEMS, and OpenLCA to perform hydrological analysis, water quality assessment, and environmental impact evaluation. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology, where I participated in various extracurricular activities, such as leading the IUT Photographic Society and organizing Cennovation, an annual Civil Engineering carnival.I am passionate about developing and implementing innovative and sustainable solutions for water and environmental challenges. I have completed multiple online courses on renewable energy, green building, environmental management, and ethics from reputable universities, such as Duke, DTU, and Lund. I am also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, demonstrating my proficiency in process improvement and quality management. I am organized, collaborative, enthusiastic, adaptable, and analytical, with excellent time management, multi-tasking, people management, and learning skills.
