   To improve the expense audit process and fraud detection for Concur and Accounts Payable (AP), I played a key role in data migration and analysis, creating complex business logic to make operations smoother. Employees submit their expenses through Concur, where I set up automated checks to ensure they follow company policies and include receipts. My custom scripts flag any unusual or out-of-policy expenses. The AP team then manually reviews these flagged items. I improved their efficiency with optimized data workflows and detailed SQL queries. Valid expenses get approved for reimbursement, while employees correct any mistakes using easy-to-use data interfaces I created.For fraud detection, we used machine learning models to spot suspicious spending patterns and advanced algorithms to prevent duplicate claims. I also implemented AI solutions to catch more complex fraud, learning from past data to improve accuracy. By monitoring employee spending and cross-checking expense data with external sources, we ensured thorough scrutiny. This involved creating sophisticated ETL processes and data warehousing strategies, using tools like Informatica and Kafka for real-time data processing.Additionally, we have data visualization dashboards to help AP auditors identify potential fraud cases, enabling better decision-making. Continuous real-time monitoring systems, supported by my data pipelines, flagged suspicious activities immediately. These efforts not only streamlined the expense audit process but also significantly enhanced the company\'s fraud detection capabilities, ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency.
