Ensuring the maximum availability of production equipment, planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance, and overseeing corrective maintenance; managing and maintaining Factory Automation System (FAS), Process Automation System (PAS), and facility services, including phone lines and lifts.• Overseeing the maintenance of critical utilities such as air compressors, vacuum generators, DG (Diesel Generator), and AHU (Air Handling Unit) and operating thermic fluid heaters; obtaining offers for spares, instrument repairs, AMCs, and equipment included in CAPEX. Conducting negotiations with vendors and suppliers on prices, payment terms, customization, and equipment performance.• Raising purchase requisitions in TCS ION/SAP, creating purchase orders, and obtaining necessary approvals; maintaining and updating documents related to the quality management system, and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as per QMS requirements.• Conducting inspections of machinery safety and permits to work in various categories (Hot, Height, General, LOTO, Confined space, Electrical, Roof work, Excavation), and taking responsibility for resolving EHS observations gathered from Gemba walks, process audits, task audits, SMAT audits, and addressing unsafe acts/conditions and near misses.• Executing Gemba walks, task audits, SMAT audits, process audits, SHEARO analysis, and toolbox talks, maintaining and updating Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and risk register; managing a team of contract workmen, trainees, and engineers across three different sites. Overseeing outsourced processes with contractors, including inspection of work and performance reviews and offering motivation and mentorship to encourage team participation in Kaizen, 5S, and safety practices.
