About Dhiraj Kumar Sarma
After working for more than a decade in various industries in various roles, it was finally in 2021 when I quit my last job and took a plunge to take up my hobby as a carrier. What is that hobby.Well I had been always fascinated by the wild herbs and spices that are native to this wonderful geographical region where I live, lying in the foothills of Mighty Himalayas, called Northeast India.In particular, the chilies found in my region, like ghost pepper, dalle chili, bird eye chili always attracted me. And finally in 2021, me and my buddy Partha Pratim Gogoi, decided to give this hobby a commercial form in the name of a company called AGRO YARD LLP.We became actively involved in knowing the different indigenous herbs and spices growing in our region and collect them to showcase in the outside world. We also became involved in doing contract farming of chilies, herbs and spices with farmers who believe in good agricultural practices. AGRO YARD LLP is our honest attempt to explore the unexplored flora and fauna of Northeast India, chase our dreams of letting the outside world know about our precious herbs and spices & earn a decent livelihood together with all those involved with us.
