Responsible for the strategy, business development, sales and key customer engagements for the QNX embedded SW business in the APAC region as well as developing a WW network of strategic ecosystem alliances (Distributors, Value Added Integrators, Semiconductor & System level partners) to scale the reach of the Blackberry QNX Embedded SW into the Automotive and General Embedded Markets. Engaged with key Automotive OEMs and Tier1s in Japan, Korea, China and India, to drive rapid revenue & design win growth in the region over the last 6 years (increased revenue by 2.5x, design wins by over 4x …… resulting in the APAC region driving the bulk of the growth in the business in the last few years and also becoming the largest revenue region from the smallest in this period). Put in place a hand-picked team of embedded SW/ HW experts with deep embedded background, regional experience and customer relationships. Also scaled the Worldwide GTM & R&D footprint of QNX by adding over 25 new & high power Distributors, Channel Partners and Value Added Integrators (VAIs) Worldwide to the Blackberry embedded ecosystem.
