About Dhiraj Baid
I am a Telecom equity analyst currently working with HSBC. I assist a sell-side analyst with the European coverage of telecom stocks.I chose the career of research as it aligned with my passion for investment.I thoroughly follow Indian equity market and do standalone research for my portfolio.As a researcher I possess a keen eye for detail which adds immense value to the process of shortlisting,analyzing and valuing the stocks.I completed my post-graduation from TAPMI,Manipal in Banking and Financial Services with major in capital markets.I was also part of the equity research team for SMIF (Student Managed Investment Fund) where we managed real time money collected from our batch mates and invested in the Indian equity market. Before my post-graduation I was working with Accenture as a software engineering analyst for banking clients. Over there I handled the functional side of the projects by interacting with the business team for implementing the requirements on the front and back end.I am also an avid reader;I read a lot of investment books, journals, and I am part of couple of investment forums where I contribute through my research.
