About Dhigha Sekaran
Dhigha Sekaran is currently a Vice President at Meta. Dhigha loves building and scaling collaborative teams to solve hard technology, product and business problems. Prior to Meta, Dhigha was Vice President, Head of engineering at OfferUp, one of the largest mobile marketplace in the US. Dhigha also has spent 15 years at Microsoft/Skype building large-scale distributed systems and real time collaboration products, and is part of roughly 45 patent applications. He served as Engineering Director leading the Skype Consumer Calling Team building a cloud based communication experience powering 500 million users. He was also part of founding member of the enterprise real time communications business which he helped grow to a multi billion dollar revenue stream (now MS teams). Dhigha holds a B.S in Information Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and a Masters in Computer Science from Iowa State University. He enjoys watching/following test cricket, traveling the world with his family, loves long distance endurance sports, hiking in the pacific northwest – also as a hobbyist he leads a non-profit theatre/media group in the Seattle area producing theatre and movies(short and long format).
