Primary responsibility is to bring subject matter expertise in quantitative modelling and risk management, particularly in wealth management, financial advisory service, and asset management, and responsible for certain model life-cycle activities for Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) models. • Performing activities such as Model Validation, Model Review, model identification, risk ranking, performance monitoring, usage, and change management.• Conducting model validations and model review on the WIM models, both in-house and vendor models, based on regulatory guidance, internal policy and procedures and best industry practice and communicate findings, limitations and observations to model owners and prepare the model validation and review reports.• Collaborating with relevant stakeholders for other model life-cycle activities such as model developers, model owners and model governance.• Working on ad-hoc projects by utilising tools such as Python, Matlab for reseach or testing WIM models to evaluate their conceptual soundness and limitations, highlighting key observations for model improvement and monitoring guidance.
