With nearly 20 years of experience in the nuclear industry, I am a seasoned and skilled project startup director at Southern Nuclear, the leader in nuclear energy in the Southeast. My mission is to provide cross-organizational leadership and strategic oversight to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely completion and operation of the new nuclear units at Plant Vogtle, the first in the U.S. in over 30 years.I have successfully managed and executed multiple critical aspects of the project, including system transition to operations, plant system and area turnover, outage control center management, and project schedule execution. I have also led and empowered a diverse and talented team of professionals and stakeholders, collaborating with construction, testing, maintenance, and operations teams, as well as regulatory agencies and external partners. I am passionate about advancing the field of commercial nuclear plant operations and contributing to the clean energy future of our region and nation.
