In my role as a Senior Engineer, I have been responsible for overseeing our organization’s critical communication systems, including Cisco Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Polycom video, and Microsoft Teams infrastructure. Here are the key aspects of my experience:Microsoft Teams and Cisco Voice Architecture:As the primary architect for Microsoft Teams, I managed the entire Teams admin center. This involves configuring settings, implementing policies, and ensuring seamless upgrades.Collaborated closely with vendors to handle system upgrades and promptly troubleshoot any issues.Unified Communications Optimization:Worked closely with our internal teams and the Polycom management team to maximize the performance of our Polycom video infrastructure.Provided guidance to local IT and our Service Desk on correct phone system configuration, enhancing overall communication efficiency.Documentation and Quality Assurance:Authored comprehensive documentation on change procedures and phone system configuration. This documentation was crucial for maintaining consistency and facilitating future improvements.Ensured quality of service (QoS) for our internal customers by effectively managing our Microsoft Teams infrastructure.Emergency Services (RedSky E911):Served as the primary engineer for RedSky E911, ensuring accurate emergency location information and compliance with safety protocols.My extensive experience in unified communications and video technologies has allowed me to contribute significantly to our organization’s communication ecosystem.
