Responsible for overseeing the company’s QMS to maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance and leading the upgrade to IATF 16949:2016- Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Quality Manual, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and linked documentation to improve system integration and audit readiness- managing internal, process, and dock audits with a clause-based program that reduces external findings- coordinating PPAP Level 3 submissions, corrective actions (SCAR/CAR), and quality concerns with major customers to maintain on-time approval; and leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Management Review meetings to track objectives and customer satisfaction- Additional responsibilities include applying GD & T principles in drawing reviews and inspections of stamping and welding parts, maintaining part-level traceability through Julian coding, lot tracking, and pallet labeling to ensure 100% containment of non-conforming material, strengthening layered process audits (LPA) and first piece approvals (FPA) to reduce in-process defects, collaborating with production, tooling, shipping, and purchasing to improve first-pass yield, and standardizing document control, calibration programs, and training initiatives to achieve full compliance.
