About Dhaval Baraiya

Hello, I\'m Dhaval Baraiya, a dedicated master\'s student enrolled in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, specializing in Telecom and Embedded System Engineering I earned my Electronics and Communication Engineering undergraduate degree from Nirma University, India, laying the foundation for my passion and expertise in this field. I developed firmware in C++ using Arduino IDE to interface capacitive bend and flex sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller for upper extremity rehabilitation exoskeleton systems. Additionally, I implemented data acquisition via SPI and I2C protocols and created a MATLAB GUI for real-time data visualization and monitoring of rehabilitation progress.I designed a testing fixture board to measure voltage and current at various test points and set up automated test benches to bring up Media Controller Units, ensuring system reliability and performance.I developed a prototype module to remotely control various electronic panels, selecting a microcontroller based on GPIO, ADC, and I2C requirements. I created a schematic layout using DipTrace and wrote firmware for key functionalities. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience with the production flow, including PCB assembly, soldering, visual inspection, quality testing, and performing 5S and other critical tests on the panels. I designed and implemented a home automation system that enabled remote control of LED lights and various electronic devices using NodeMCU microcontroller and high-current-rated relays. The system utilized the Blynk app and a server-based approach for seamless operation, enhancing the convenience of household automation under the guidance of Pinkesh Shah.
