During my internship at The Ramco Cements Limited, I worked on developing a SmartProcure system focused on intelligent quotation analysis and supplier comparison. The application was designed to process invoices and quotations in multiple formats such as PDFs and images, extract key information, and convert unstructured data into meaningful insights. The system allows users to first select the product category and then define requirements such as price, quantity, credit period, warranty, delivery days, MOQ, and GST for accurate comparison. I built a web-based interface using Python and Streamlit that enables users to upload files, provide constraints, and analyze supplier data efficiently.The system performs data extraction, validation, and comparison, generating structured outputs such as comparison tables, scoring metrics, and visual charts. It helps in identifying the best supplier based on multiple business conditions and requirements. I also explored AI concepts such as OCR-based document processing and data analysis techniques. Additionally, I worked on designing user-friendly interfaces, handling real-time processing, and improving system performance.This internship provided hands-on experience in developing end-to-end applications and strengthened my skills in problem-solving, data handling, and building efficient solutions for real-world scenarios.
