About Dharmisha Narayanan
Obtained an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology degree from Baylor University and a Bachelor in Arts degree in Psychology from UCLA. I am currently licensed as a School Psychologist and actively work as School Psychologist at Eden Prairie Schools. I also hold my Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) license issued by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). I have experience working in K-12 schools where I complete special education evaluations, assess and monitor Response to Intervention tiers, provide special education counseling, participate in Student Assistance Team and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and much more! Previously, I worked with undergraduate students to help them develop skills in time management, goal setting, self-management, and self-care. Additionally, I assisted a school district in administering cognitive and academic achievement assessments to identify causes of learning difficulties that children may be experiencing. Other experiences I have gained include co-facilitating social skills groups, mentoring at-risk students in elementary schools, and implementing the Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) to elementary and middle school children. I have also utilized Applied Behavior Analysis practices with clients to help eliminate or reduce negative or disruptive behaviors by replacing them with more appropriate, positive ones.
