The project aims to show how restoring the service can provide a cheaper, restful, and scenic alternative to ferries and road travel, while boosting housing, tourism, and community development.Contributed to the ridership forecasting model by building datasets and applying direct demand, fixed effects, and elasticity-based approaches to evaluate how demographics, income, tourism, fares, and travel times shape ridership potential.Tech stack: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Statsmodels), Visual Studio Code, GitHub for version control, and data visualization tools to present corridor-level ridership insights.
