ABOUT DHARMIK NAICKER

I’m a Software Engineer focused on building AI-powered systems end to end. I work across backend engineering, GenAI pipelines, retrieval systems, vector search, and applied machine learning. My background includes deploying production-grade RAG systems, building AWS-based data workflows, and developing ML-driven applications in both industry and research settings.At Hyundai Capital, I built an end-to-end RAG pipeline that automated mismatched IVR call detection, reduced 8+ hours of weekly manual effort, and integrated full-stack reporting tools using Python, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, Glue, Step Functions, and Claude/OpenAI APIs. This experience shaped my interest in engineering reliable, scalable AI systems that impact real users.At UC Irvine, I’ve worked on computer vision research using CNN-based DMNet and Meta’s SAM2, improving solar panel detection accuracy and IoU through fine-tuning and PyTorch optimization. I also contributed to synthetic data generation using GANs, LSTM, and GRU models at CALIT2 and built MERN and LLM-based applications through personal projects.Today, I’m focused on Software Engineering roles where I can build AI/ML applications, including- AI Software Engineer- AI/ML Application Engineer- GenAI / RAG Engineer- Backend or Platform SWE (Python)I enjoy working on problems that bridge engineering and machine intelligence, and I’m always open to opportunities that push me to build smarter, scalable systems.
