Played a key role as part of the Indirect Tax leadership team in leading the GST transition, India\'s most significant tax reform. Have led the implementation of tax technology compliance solutions, including e-invoicing and also played a key role in establishing the India GST compliance centre. I have extensive experience in advocacy and in managing GST investigations into complex interpretation issues. I have also advised on Customs and Trade matters, including the Global Trade Rebalance campaign in the ongoing trade disruption, advising on customs duty implications, non-tariff barriers, benefits under Free Trade Agreements and incentives under the \"Make-in-India\" initiative of the Central and State Governments.I have also supported PwC UAE during the VAT transition in GCC countries in 2018, and also led the outsourcing of VAT compliance to the India Delivery Centre.
