ABOUT DHARKAN ANAND

Hii, I’m Dharkan Anand, the Co-founder_CEO of ClimMaTech & a recent \"Civil Engineering graduate with specialization in Entrepreneurship and Minor in Management\" from IIT Mandi. My startup focused on climate tech in disaster management & resilience, specially flood forecasting and real-time river monitoring systems. Our mission is to “Predict the Unpredictable” by combining radar, camera, and AI-based sensing technologies with digital twin platforms for resilient water and disaster management.As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) at IIT Mandi Catalyst, I work at the intersection of engineering, environmental intelligence, and innovation, building solutions tailored for remote, climate-vulnerable regions. I have tested field prototypes, and collaborated with research teams and government stakeholders to validate real-world use cases of the product that we innovate. What I bring to the table:• Technical expertise in civil engineering specially in hydrology, river systems, and infrastructure.• Strong grounding in startup strategy, business modeling, and overall execution.• Hands-on experience in product development, prototyping, and field testing.• Passion for turning grassroots challenges into sustainable tech solutions.I’m always open to collaborations in climate resilience, water innovation, deep-tech, or impact entrepreneurship.
