I saw my Dad build young men out of scraggly teenagers, develop coaching staffs that found the magic in each player, form teams that consistently outperformed their physical abilities, and hold his head high regardless what the scoreboard said at the end of the 4th quarter. Growing up the only daughter, football was not allowed. So, I turned to fast-pitch softball playing recreation league, travel ball and high school. Ultimately, I picked my college because they had a competitive, fast-pitch softball team. I am very proud to have been a NCAA Division athlete – starting all four years at catcher and third base.I love being on the team and in the game. I love anticipating the multiple possible plays that can result from each pitch; seeing the ball be put into play; and then quickly reacting to make the perfect play for the situation. Professionally, my career has developed like a softball game.During the 1st inning, I was the “go to” person to resolve operating problems and implement people/process/technology changes within AT & T and Lucent Technologies in the US and as an expat in New Delhi, India. In the 2nd inning, I was the “go to” person to unite Lucent and Alcatel into a cohesive Alcatel-Lucent Strategic Project Purchasing organization for North America and to turn Supply Chain sustainability, compliance and quality into global brand differentiating programs. In my 3rd inning, I forged a supply chain out of siloed functions significantly reducing operating costs at Convergent Media Systems. I hit a Grand Slam in the 4th inning with Mainfreight being top outside Sales for the US LTL Trucking division. Now, it\'s top of the 5th inning, I am excited to be leading Sustainability at Dematic.
