Dhara brings a unique blend of healthcare & life sciences consulting experience across the US, New Zealand, and Australia. With over 12+ years of experience, she has provided strategic planning and executed digital transformation services for large health plans, federal healthcare systems, national Telehealth services, government-led public healthcare systems, as well as pharmaceutical companies. Throughout her career, Dhara has provided guidance to clients on a wide range of industry topics, including but not limited to go-to-market strategy for new product launch, organizational design, business process optimization, digital transformation management, change management, and population health management.Dhara considers it a privilege to have contributed to the development and progress of healthcare reform in 2 countries: contributing to the ObamaCare strategy to improve access to quality healthcare, reducing the # of uninsured individuals, and promoting equity in health coverage across the US. And streamlining public health system by replacing 20 District Health Boards with 2 entities, fostering greater health equity and accessibility in NZ. It taught her that health systems around the world vary widely, but many share similarities in structure, ethos, and challenges. During her tenure, Dhara played a pivotal role in enhancing NZ\'s COVID-19 tracking and tracing processes by collaborating closely w/ Ministry of Health executives and public health units driving improvements that bolstered the nation’s pandemic response efforts. Dhara also has experience in developing go-to-market strategies for product launches in the pharmaceutical industry, post-clinical trials. This expertise is complemented by her experience in GMP certification operations, ensuring seamless integration of regulatory compliance, and manufacturing efficiency.Having spent several years abroad, Dhara has gained international experience that has broadened her perspective on both private and public healthcare systems, cultures, & challenges that require new ways of thinking and problem-solving. This exposure has deepened her understanding of diverse healthcare landscapes & strengthened her adaptability in evolving markets. Her passion lies in advancing health equity enabled by technology. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dhara is an enthusiast of red wine. Also an avid reader who leads several book clubs and an amateur endurance athlete aiming to complete all 6 World Marathon Majors. She is fortunate to call both New Zealand and the United States her home.
