The AT & T FFA project focuses on evaluating Nokia RAN features & new RAN Hardware Functionality and performance as per 3GPP guidelines. These features will be rolled out in commercial network after FFA Exit i.e acceptance/review with customer features offered by Nokia on each software release.My Role is to come up with Test case and Evaluating Feature Functionality and in Field Trails to check Benefits (customer experiences, new capabilities, and performance improvement) of each release and risks associated with it before going on to implement national wide.• Features study, evaluation of expected gain per feature according to network configuration.• Responsible for Planning and validation of new hardware and software with test plans for based on feature scope.• Feature configuration, perform commission & activation in Lab / field, Execution of Drive tests.• Analysis of Drive tests results. Comparison of Features gains with expectations.• RCA Analysis & Troubleshooting 5G and 4G Network and UE issues and • Discussion with NAM counterpart on Final Feature Presentation, Feature presentation to customer.• Responsible for test SW, features and GPL for evaluation towards FFA exit, alignment to 3GPP Baseline with support till Release 17• Responsible to support and perform the implementation features and baseband HW Debugging UE and NW logs.• Acquired knowledge & hands-on with tools like QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, EMIL, eDAT, SYSLOG, PCAP & UP AnalyserField testing and evaluation of following features in 5G (22R1 to 24R1)256 QAM-PUSCH (TDD/FDD)Extended N77 for NSA and SA modeScheduling Request Handling4CC Throughput Testing with FDD as Pcell / TDD as PcellDedicated DRX Profiles for ANRNR for SA Intra-NR Inter-frequency UE basedAdaptive ReTransmission, PDSCH scheduling in special slotDynamic Target BLER in DL Link Adaptation, PRB BlankingDynamic UL resource allocation in FR1 TDD cells3GPP flow control algorithmProactive Grants for TCP Speedup
