ABOUT DHANUKA PERERA

As a React Developer at Global, I work on building scalable and performant web applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and AWS. I collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet the user needs and business goals. I also leverage my experience in UX and UI design, using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Photoshop to create intuitive and responsive interfaces.Before joining Global, I was a Full Stack Software Developer at MOSA, where I designed and implemented serverless backend services using AWS Lambda, GraphQL, S3, Cognito, Geo, DynamoDB, Cloud Formation, Step Functions, YAML, Node, and Python. I also developed a cross-platform mobile app from scratch using Dart and Flutter, integrating with NFC, BLE, Geo-Fencing, and Google Maps services, and distributed to trail users in London, Cambridge, UK, and Tel Aviv, Israel. Additionally, I developed a real-time interactive dashboard from scratch using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Hooks, and MobX.I am currently pursuing a Master\'s degree in Computer Science at York St. John University, where I am learning advanced topics in machine learning, AI, data science, and data analysis. I have also completed a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp, and a Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals certification. I am passionate about learning new technologies and solving complex problems with innovative solutions. I have multiple publications in and SLIIT FOC Student Research Symposium, and a gold award in SLIIT CodeFest 2018.
