Nitesh Dhanjani is a well-known technology executive, researcher, author, and speaker. Dhanjani is the author of “Abusing the Internet of Things: Blackouts, Freakouts, and Stakeouts” (O’Reilly), ”Hacking: The Next Generation\"(O\'Reilly),\"Network Security Tools: Writing, Hacking, and Modifying Security Tools\"(O\'Reilly), and \"HackNotes: Linux and Unix Security\"(Osborne McGraw-Hill). Dhanjani has been invited to talk at various information security events, such as the Black Hat Briefings, RSA, Hack in the Box, Microsoft Blue Hat, and the US president’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC). Dhanjani’s work has been reported by large media outlets such as CNN, Reuters, MSNBC, and Forbes.As partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC) cybersecurity practice, Nitesh designed and delivers services focused on cloud and emerging technologies, including Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), mobile devices, medical devices, connected cars, and Blockchain smart-contracts. Nitesh works on projects that help his clients entirely transform their technology platforms in a manner that sustains growth while taking into account the surrounding risks and regulatory compliance. For the past 20+ years, Nitesh has delivered tangible results that demonstrate crisp cybersecurity competency that is aligned towards strong client relationships and navigating the business landscape at hand. Prior to PwC, Nitesh was the deputy CISO at AIG where he was the executive sponsor for high visibility risk management initiatives with a budget of $65m+/year. Nitesh was also Executive Director at Ernst & Young where he formed and led their Disruptive Technologies practice that focused on cyber solutions in the IoT and AI/ML space. Nitesh graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
