Qualified Counselling Psychologist with ~16 years of hands-on experience in psychological assessments, competency mapping, counselling, life coaching, and skill building in academic and defence setups. I bring to the table exceptional communication and confidence building abilities, backed by negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills to arrive at win-win scenarios. Retired from the Indian Air Force with an impeccable career record of a decade and a half, I garnered exposure in strategic decision making, project & operations management, team engagement, and process improvement initiatives. I have to my credit successfully implementing and evaluating psychometric programs, streamlining policies & procedures, and supervising execution of various activities to enable growth and development of employees/students in holistic work/academic environments. Due to my technical proficiency, I am adept at utilizing tools and methodologies to attain individual, organizational, and project objectives. I am proud of being highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities which enables me to effectively deliver projects while adhering to firm deadlines and stringent budgets. In the Air Force, I was commended by the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief in 2017 for impeccable professionalism and praiseworthy contribution to the service. I mentored and trained workforce to draw out full potential despite steering operations in challenging terrains of Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir. A post-graduate in Counselling Psychology, I believe in continually adding value to my professional skills and therefore undertook several courses and certifications during my career. Currently pursuing Diploma in Art Therapy, I also gained a Certification in Business Management from the renowned IIM, Lucknow. Always inspiring teams to deliver outstanding results while working in a culturally diverse environment, I am not just satisfied with efforts, but believe in delivering end-result. An adventure enthusiast at heart, I enjoy trekking and also undertook a basic course in skiing. A firm believer that mental health matters for high self-esteem and holistic happiness, I also practice yoga and Vipasana meditation on a regular basis.I am looking to improve my networks, hoping to share knowledge and grow ideas into actionable initiatives.
