Leading the team as a Deputy Process Manager• Creation and development of critical pathways in line with the retailer’s requirements.• Delivering trials against the plan, in line with the business-critical paths, taking a problem-solving approach ensuring issues are captured, resolved, and communicated across multiple functions, with an awareness of the budget.• Completion of a comprehensive factory trial reports and communication with the customer following the outcome of the trial, with clear action plan.• Reviewing microbiological and nutritional results throughout trials to assess failures/need for repeats, whilst ensuring all samples are controlled.• Completion of organoleptic throughout trials and raising issues, where they do not meet the correct standards.• Communicating with the suppliers and managing raw materials and packaging required for the trials on a continuous basis.• Conduct validations in association with site CCP’s and HACCP principles to ensure the food safety compliance in line with project delivery.• Conduct supplier process audits and assess the new raw materails against the supplier spec.• Completion of quality contracts and internal specifications to high retail standards and expectations• Completion of controlled documents for trials and production against the customer specification & BOM.• Managing post trial outputs- initiation of BOM’s, Artwork checks, transit tests, customer samples, cook validations• Collaboratively work with operations team to identify process improvement opportunities with business and lead initiatives• Supporting with packaging trials• Attending business development and customer meetings• Supporting customer attended meetings, pre-production, and launches
