I’m an MS in Computer Science & Engineering graduate student at Santa Clara University and a Software Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer focused on building AI-driven products end to end—backend APIs, data pipelines, and LLM/embedding-based retrieval and ranking.At TipTop Technologies, I’m building an AI-powered gift recommendation system that converts voice → text → structured intent using Speech-to-Text and NLU, then ranks candidates using embedding similarity plus business-rule scoring. I design scalable services and pipelines for ingestion → feature generation → model/embedding serving, improving end-to-end latency and personalization turnaround by ~30%. I also modernized the frontend using React + TypeScript with Vite, TailwindCSS, and React Query, and added automated tests to prevent regressions.Previously, I worked on ML-driven content moderation and retrieval systems using TF-IDF and Logistic Regression, and deployed models behind REST APIs with Docker-based reproducible runs.
