Experience on-*Technical Expertise:SMSs possess in-depth knowledge of farm-based livelihoods, including agriculture, horticulture, pisciculture, livestock rearing, or non-timber forest produce (NTFP).*Community Engagement: Work closely with community members, Community Resource Persons (CRPs), and other stakeholders to establish effective coordination and planning.*Training and Capacity Building:SMSs are responsible for providing training to community members and CRPs on various livelihood activities and production enhancement techniques.*On-site Support:They provide hands-on support to communities in implementing best practices and establishing demonstration plots on their farms.*Convergence and Partnerships:SMSs explore opportunities to collaborate with other government programs and schemes to enhance livelihood opportunities.*Documentation and Reporting:They document field data, consolidate information, and conduct training sessions in the local language.*Monitoring and Evaluation:They play a vital role in monitoring the progress of livelihood interventions and evaluating their impact on the targeted communities.*Promoting Sustainable Practices:They encourage the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and the formation of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to build self-sustaining rural economies.
