About D. Gordon Smith
Law is a leadership degree, and I spend much of my time and energy striving to develop law students who can make a difference in the world. I can\'t think of a better place to do that than BYU Law School, where we have top-shelf talent, resources, and ambition. My current passion is developing global programs for the students and faculty of BYU Law School.Three overlapping scholarly subjects are holding my attention right now: developing the field of fiduciary law through publications and conferences; writing articles and books about the history of corporations in the United States with special attention to the Gilded Age and the Progressive Era; and reengaging with the field of antitrust by directing BYU Law Future of Antitrust Program. I am eager to connect with people who share these interests.
