Dewey is an Educational Consultant, novelist, poet, and speaker known as the former exemplary Chief Academic Officer of Jefferson County Public Schools, the 26th largest school district in the nation, the author of the novels TRAPPED, a psychological thriller, and Secrets and Blood, an Appalachian suspense novel. He is also the Chief of Poverty Considerate Schools. This consulting firm offers common sense school reform through developing teacher quality and school-wide systems to support academic achievement for students from poverty. He consistently models leadership excellence.
