About Devyn Wishon
As an incoming 1L student at Florida State University College of Law, a Criminal Justice B.S. Graduate of Clemson University with Magna Cum Laude Honors, and a Published Co-Author of research articles that outline sexual assault prevention efforts and the concept of consent, I seek to make a difference in the world by striving to ensure the legal system becomes a more just and merciful entity. I’m driven by a deep commitment to equity, compassion, and restorative justice. My academic path and practical experiences have continually reinforced my passion for helping others. The law should not only uphold accountability but also foster healing and transformation. That belief fuels my interest in restorative practices that enable redemptive solutions for those who break the law but deserve another chance to reintegrate into society and make amends, all while justice still prevails. Looking ahead, I’m excited to contribute to legal work that not only enforces the law but also reforms it, making justice more accessible, empathetic, and fair for everyone.
