Hello everyone, I\'m Devshree Parganiha, a highly motivated microbiologist with a deep passion for scientific exploration. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in microbiology, cell biology, and molecular biology. Throughout my academic career, I\'ve had the privilege of participating in a variety of research projects that have not only broadened my knowledge but also ignited my enthusiasm for scientific discovery.At the University of Wolverhampton, I embarked on a project investigating the intricate molecular mechanisms behind cancer drug resistance, focusing on cancer stem cells and metastasis. This research aimed to identify potential avenues for repurposing existing drugs for more effective cancer treatment.My research endeavors haven\'t been limited to the realm of human health. At VIT Vellore, India, I explored the fascinating world of the microbiome by studying the microbial communities residing in the preputial gland of house rats. This project involved culturing these microbes in a laboratory setting with the ultimate goal of utilizing their metabolites for eco-friendly pest control solutions.My technical skillset reflects my diverse research experience. I\'m adept in a wide range of microbiological techniques, including culturing, aseptic methods, media preparation, staining techniques, biochemical tests, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Additionally, I possess strong skills in molecular techniques such as DNA/RNA/protein extraction, cDNA synthesis, agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, quantitative RT-PCR, and ELISA.Furthermore, my expertise extends to various chromatography techniques, cell culture techniques (including mammalian cell culture, 3D spheroid cultures, transfection, and fluorescence microscopy), and a variety of spectroscopic and microscopic techniques. My comfort with bioinformatics tools and various computer software programs further enhances my ability to conduct comprehensive research and analyze complex data.Science is my passion, but not just in a lab. I thrive in teamwork, like with RITVA Foundation India, educating women on health. This sparked my love for clear science communication, making knowledge accessible. Public health is also dear to me. At the University of Delhi, I helped educate people about COVID-19. These experiences solidified my desire to use science to empower communities for a healthier future. I\'m eager to join a passionate team and make a real difference in microbiology and beyond. Thank you for your time.
