   Building a cloud native service in OCI for Oracle hyperscale, globally distributed databases. I was one of the first engineers to work in this service. Was involved from the initial architectural design and discussions and developed this cloud native service from scratch to its first GA release and continuing. This cloud native service is in the same category as Google Spanner, Azure Hyperscale, AWS Aurora Limitless. Implemented core functionalities in the service like -1. Creating and provisioning distributed database in cloud spreading across multiple cloud regions2. Adding and removing shards from the distributed database in different regions.3. Deleting shards and sharded databases from the cloud.4. Writing reclamation code to reclaim resources for terminated customer accounts in the cloud.5. Integrating the service with OCI logging, audit, accounting, telemetry
