About Devrupa Paul
About 11 years’ experience in Environmental and Urban Planning consultancies including non-profit organisations with in-depth knowledge of urban infrastructure and environmental projects. Presently working as visiting professor for School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi for 3rd Year, teaching Planning Practice. Worked with numerous International funding agencies including DFAT, World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).Conducted environmental assessments for large infrastructure projects including pumped-hydro battery megaproject, six airports, twelve solar farms including mini grids with a combined capacity of ~2,300MW, and wind farm of 12 MW capacity. Developed environmental and social management system (ESMS) for 10 Ports, and drafted several environmental audit reports, development plans, due diligence reports and feasibility reports.
