Born in San Francisco, I am an educator/activist who is interested in diverse issues ranging from geopolitics to neighborhood gentrification. Now in my 11th year as the as a school administrator, I am currently the principal at Rooftop School TK-8 in the San Francisco Unified School District. I spent the previous five years as the principal of Rosa Parks Elementary School in San Francisco\'s Western Addition. An 18-year teacher of social studies at both middle and high school. I have also been an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco in the School of Education and New York University Steinhardt School of Education. I received a Masters in Urban Education from New York University and my undergraduate degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. I have also studied at the College of San Mateo, San Francisco State University and Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.Specialties: Urban Education, International Studies, Community Activism, and Human Rights
