I am in charge of connecting the West Lafayette public with the historical collections we have at the library. In addition to looking after our archive collection materials, I also work to share our collections with the public in dynamic ways that offer compelling stories. My background in video production helps me to use video to tell stories and communicate history in an attention-grabbing way. I love helping people see connections with their past, and the best way to build those bridges is through effectively storytelling techniques. It is important to address the systemic under-representation of certain demographics in the historical record so that this problem can be addressed, and an accurate depiction of the past can be understood.
