As Manager of Education Programs at The Fraser Institute, I lead and execute an annual plan of educational programs in collaboration with the Director and the Education Programs department. I manage and oversee the portfolios of two Education Program Coordinators, ideate and develop proposals for new programs, and provide support in program grant applications and commitment planning. I also lead the development of lesson plan curricula, working alongside economic experts, using current pedagogical methods and adhering to Canadian curriculum requirements.I have over five years of experience managing and leading educational programs, including professional development seminars for educators, students, and journalists across Canada. I successfully transitioned in-person programs to online webinar formats, facilitating over 50 modular webinars and reaching over 300 Canadian teachers annually. Through the implementation of new marketing strategies, improved brand positioning, and increased stakeholder relationship-building initiatives, I have established meaningful networks across Canada, increasing program engagement. I am passionate about improving educational programs for all Canadians and innovating methods to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.With diverse experience in the non-profit, events and hospitality, administration, and sales sectors, I am confident in taking on new challenges and actively seek learning opportunities to deepen my understanding of my field and broaden my knowledge and perspective.
