My journey to the helm of Pontiac Motor Company has been guided by a lifelong dedication to innovation, risk management, and decisive leadership—a path shaped considerably by my career at General Motors. For more than three and a half years at GM, I was entrusted with anchoring our manufacturing operations in a secure cyber environment. My focus was clear: deploy robust network security controls, harness platforms like Cylance for endpoint protection, and enhance IT reporting systems to keep threats at bay. By streamlining security processes and strengthening endpoint defenses, I helped fortify GM’s plant floors against rapidly evolving threats and supply-chain vulnerabilities. Collaboration was the key. Working with cross-functional teams to operationalize SIEM analytics allowed us to detect anomalies in real time often before they escalated to a critical incident. This initiative not only refined our threat-response protocols but also gave our engineers and plant operators the confidence to push the boundaries of manufacturing without compromising security. From policy creation to hands-on defense, our collective effort reinforced GM’s operational resilience, earning trust throughout the organization. Yet these successes formed just one part of a broader career arc. Before GM, I refined my network engineering acumen at companies like Ford and Ash Stevens, where I integrated advanced routing protocols and reduced network vulnerabilities—always with a forward-looking mindset. Every role sharpened my ability to translate technical complexities into tangible benefits for stakeholders. Ultimately, it was GM’s mix of large-scale manufacturing challenges and constant technological evolution that prepared me to steer Pontiac Motor As CEO, I apply the same cyber and operational rigor to our engineering, financing, and logistics. If designing a new powertrain or optimizing a supply chain, I ensure the same guardrails and best practices are in place, reflecting the lessons I learned safeguarding a global automaker’s assets.
