About Devon Hsiao
Currently a 2L at the University of Texas at Austin. I am interested in cybersecurity and privacy, and have extensive international research and work experience.As an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin, I conducted independent qualitative field research in Uganda on the topic of China-Africa relations. My areas of focus included history, African studies and Asian studies, as well as Mandarin Chinese and Korean language studies. Following graduation I worked in public relations in Asia, before transitioning into the non-profit sector as an AmeriCorps VISTA.
