About Devon Burton
Born with the relentless drive to positively impact the world, I sought a career in medicine. Throughout my 5+ years in orthopedics and sports medicine I effectively mastered my craft to become a trusted leader surgeons could confidently rely on to effectively drive results in all facets of their practice. From the OR to the clinic, efficiency and patient outcomes are priority. Recognizing this, I collaborated with and taught key staff on the proper usage of orthopedic devices and procedural techniques to mitigate safety concerns and effectively decrease operative times. As a result, our institution consistently ranked among the top five pediatric orthopedic specialized hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report. After my extensive career in orthopedics and sports medicine at the bedside, my appetite for growth and innovation led me to an opportunity within the medical device industry. As a current Associate Sales Representative in Sports Medicine at Smith & Nephew, I’m eager to cultivate new relationships with prospective surgeons by empathetically leveraging my patient-focused experience in orthopedics and demonstrating my reliability as a trusted resource by proactively solving complex problems with our comprehensive portfolio to create a tangible economic value that better serves surgeons and helps improve the lives of their patients.
