I’ve spent the past seven years working in growing finance teams, helping build processes that scale alongside the business. Most of my experience has been in fast moving environments where finance needs to catch up quickly. I’ve led teams, improved month end timelines, supported system implementations, and worked to make financial reporting more useful and less painful.More recently, I’ve been focused on where finance is headed next. I completed a Master’s in Financial Innovation and Technology at Queen’s University, where I explored how emerging technologies, including predictive modeling and machine learning, can help finance teams move from reactive reporting to proactive, data driven decision making.I now support finance teams through Well Scaled, a consulting project focused on simplifying core workflows, especially reporting, internal controls, and month end close.I’m interested in the space where finance, technology, and storytelling overlap, and I enjoy turning complex data into insights that actually help people make better decisions.Happy to connect with others exploring similar challenges or building in this space.
