The Love and Power Institute is a start up non-profit with a mission to support cultural evolution in service of a sustainable future on planet Earth. We are activists and academics that create community through workshops on tending relationships, emotional versatility, dreamwork, and forest immersion meditations. Our goal is to bring folks together to understand themselves, each other, and the planet. My role: Teacher and Operations Manager. I joined to teach our workshops and have began to assist the team in building the organization operations and socializing our programs. I am borrowing my life/work experience in the for-profit world at Haus.com, Adobe, and the non-profit realm Esalen Institute to build something different.We are currently developing our Fall 2025 offerings both virtually and in person in Santa Cruz, CA. I am focusing on building our process, culture, and programming reach. My signature offering will be our Forest Immersion experience based upon my upcoming book A Walk On Earth and the Japanese art of Shinrin-Yoku or Forest Bathing (better translated as breathing or immersing oneself in the medicine of the forest). In my green-hearted opinion, walking in the forest is a metaphor for life and it\'s where we can meet truly find our path to wisdom. Love and Power is seeking to make the world a little more harmonious and if you read the news, perhaps you agree.
