Procurement & Logistics Director for ABB’s Energy Industries in Americas (major projects in Oil & Gas, Hydro, Solar, Combined Cycle Plants, Retrofits and Distributed Control Systems), grid automation, grid integration and marine systems business units. • Responsible for managing US$ 340M+ annual spend for projects. • 20+ years of rich and diverse experience in procurement, project management, subcontract management, construction, estimation and application engineering with multinational companies including ABB Inc, GE & Alstom Limited. • Lead international project execution of complete “Water to Wire” Hydro Power Plant (100MW), Retrofit projects, substation automation, maintenance projects as a single point of contact with customer for all techno-commercial aspect of project. • Extensive work experience in strategic contract negotiation, turnkey project proposal preparation, scheduling, risk assessment, performing root cause analysis and building strong long-term relationship with customers and suppliers. • Extensive work experience in complex subcontract preparation, negotiation and evaluation of techno-commercial bid of subcontractors. • Lead and participated in various procurement direct & indirect commodity teams. • Good working knowledge of enterprise resource planning software such as SAP, Oracle, Lotus Notes, MS Project and MS Office. • Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada (P.Eng.)-(member of PEO). • Project Management Professional (PMP) – (member of PMI). • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)(member of CPSM)• Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
