About Devin Wine
I’m an instrumentation and controls engineer who’s spent the past 25 years working where the electrical, mechanical, and human systems all intersect. My path’s been unconventional—U.S. Navy radar tech turned shipfitter, turned facilities engineer, turned robotics and process-controls specialist. I’ve built, maintained, and modernized everything from guided-missile radar and embassy HVAC systems to datacenter cooling units and beer-brewing lines.Whether it’s tuning a PID loop, tracing a fault in a 50-year-old control panel, or aligning a new system for production, I approach it the same way: stay calm, stay methodical, and document everything.I’m fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2) and comfortable leading or collaborating in international teams. The environments may change—naval ships, Tokyo robot shows, or Washington factories—but the mindset stays the same: precision, safety, and curiosity. If it involves sensors, logic, or power flow, I’m in my element.
