As an AmeriCorps service member, I am dedicated to connecting individuals and families with critical resources in Greenville County. In my role as a resource navigator, VITA tax preparer, and project manager, I work closely with clients facing financial hardship, providing referrals, eviction prevention support, and utility assistance. One of my key projects includes managing In-Kind Donation Distribution from the United Way of Greenville, ensuring that essential supplies reach nonprofits and churches that serve our community. Through this experience, I have developed strong professional communication skills, case management expertise, and a deep understanding of financial and housing insecurity. I have also earned my VITA Advanced certification, allowing me to help low-income families maximize their tax returns. My passion for problem-solving and advocacy has led me to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD), building on my background in economics and my interest in the legal field. The resilience I have developed during my service year—navigating shifting placements, unexpected disasters, and limited resources—has strengthened my commitment to making a meaningful impact. I aim to bring that same dedication to my future legal career, ensuring that I provide the highest level of support to clients and organizations.
