ABOUT DEVIN SANDER

I began my career studying Honours Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, with a major in accounting. In pursuing the CPA designation, I had worked at BDO for 16 months of co-op terms, in audit and assurance. Upon graduating, I continued to work with BDO until my departure as a senior accountant in audit. I left BDO in early 2018 to pursue a once in a lifetime opportunity of working at a startup company in a space that I\'m extremely passionate about. Following my passion for computer science, I joined Ether Capital to help focus on investing in and building the future of finance on Ethereum. At Ether Capital, I learned all the building blocks of venture capital and building a company from the ground up, as well as what it means to engineer software in a nascent space and begin to bring in interest of financial institutions for projects and MVP prototypes that will improve data collaboration and openness in the financial system.After a year and a half of startup experience, I now work as a Manager in KPMG’s Technology Risk Consulting group. Primary forms of engagements include IT audits and attestations, SOC2 reports and cybersecurity services.
