I have been practising law since 2001 in a wide range of matters. While I represent clients in all types of injury and insurance claims, my specialization is standing up for survivors of institutional abuse and pursuing claims on their behalf. My clients have successfully obtained damages from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Antigonish for abuse by former clergy and the Province of Nova Scotia for abuse by former employees of the youth justice system.My goal is to bring a hardworking and personal approach to the practice of law. Ultimately, people seek out lawyers because they need help. I like to provide that help in a way that is approachable and comforting. A good lawyer shouldn\'t be intimidating.
